ISO 9001 Certification

Mossberg's products are built to world-class levels of manufacturing standards.

When a manufacturing company applies for ISO certification, its manufacturing and quality control procedures undergo an intensive review by an independent auditing agency. Every aspect of the manufacturing process is studied and, where necessary, upgraded to meet a strict international standard. This can even include outside suppliers. In addition, it often means that the company has invested in additional training for its production and engineering personnel.

It is only after the international certifying organization has assured itself that all standards have been met, that the certification is awarded. An annual review is then conducted to maintain the prestigious certification. Mossberg's ISO 9001 certification is the result of much on-going hard work.

Mossberg® was the first long-gun manufacturer in the U.S. to achieve ISO 9001 certification, another example of Mossberg's continued dedication to innovation and value.
