





Barrel Refinishing and Porting
BARREL REFINISHINGMossberg® is pleased to offer a refinishing service for many of our barrels. The service is limited to the reblue of original blued finished barrels and the rephosphate of original phosphate barrels. Sorry, we will not alter a barrel from its original finish and no other components will be refinished. Marinecote™ or camouflaged barrels are not included.
MODELSOur refinishing service includes all gauge and length barrels up to 30". Model types include: 500®, 505™, 535™, 590®, 835®, 930™, 935™, 9200®, 5500™ barrels, Maverick® models 88™, 91™, all private brand 500® barrels, and Mossberg-produced Remington® 870™ barrels.PRICEThe price for reblue or rephosphate is $35 per barrel.SHIPPINGKindly remove the swivel post, choke tube, heat shield, special sighting devices or any other item you added to your barrel. Send us only the barrel - not the entire gun.An additional $20 service fee will be charged to remove any personal items left on the barrel. Wrap and box the barrel to protect it from any shipping damage. Be sure to include with the barrel: your name, street address and daytime telephone number, along with a check, money order or payment information for the correct amount. No other repairs or adjustments will be made unless specifically arranged for prior to your shipping of the product. O.F. All porting dimensions and locations will be to our current porting specifications. Barrel porting helps reduce muzzle jump and felt recoil.FACTORY PORTING IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR MOST 12- AND 20-GAUGE MODELS, INCLUDING:835®: all barrels between 24" and 30" in length.500®: 12 and 20-gauge vent rib or plain barrels (with fixed or Accu-Choke™ system between 22" and 30" in length.) 500®: 12 and 20-gauge slug barrels (with rifle sights or integral scope base.) 535™ ATS: all barrels. 88™: 12-gauge vent rib, plain or slug barrel. Sorry, barrels that are not eligible for porting are the 935 Magnum™, 590®, 9200®, 5500™, .410 bore models, Marinecote™ finished barrels and any barrel under 22" in overall length.
