And all the necessary features are there - a grooved receiver for the easy mounting of a scope when the time comes; a blued metal finish with a durable hardwood stock; a free-floating barrel and fully adjustable iron sights.

As your young shooter becomes more familiar with the gun and more experienced, the removeable magazine plug can be replaced with an optional 10-shot magazine, easily converting the Half-Pint into a repeater.
